Winter squash. C. moschata. Fruit are very attractive. Flattened, deeply ribbed squash have a characteristic dusty bloom on the rind. Dark green rind with an orange hue. Rind is uneven and knobby. Squash are easily into pie-like sections along the deep ribs. Fruit measure 4-5" long; 6-7" wide; and weigh 3-5lbs. Thick, pale orange flesh. Dry matter content: 12.79%. BRIX reading: 7.0. Sprawling vines. Moderately productive when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Susceptible to powdery mildew. Very unique fruity/nutty taste. SSE Accession # 119948
