Red Cos

Very pretty romaine, leaves are vivid light green inside the head with dark crimson blush on the outer leaf blade. Leaves are upright, heads are quite loose at market maturity. Very tender leaves for a romaine, great texture. Plants measure 13-15" tall and 13-15" in diameter when grown at Heritage Farm in 2018. Black seeded. SSE Accession # 112264
