Pole dry bean. Very late (may not all ripen) but potentially extremely productive. Seeds beautiful bright pink with maroon streaks, peanut M&M shaped, 1/2x3/8x1/4", 50/oz., easy to shell. Some solid maroon. Richard Schoolmaster described his seed as 'red speckled white'. In 2014 (long perfect summer) I got 4.5 oz 220 seeds from 10 planted in half shade, but only 40-50 seeds in drought years. 90-120 days to ripe. Potentially very productive but we get few perfect summers. It did extremely well in 2025, with a lot of rain then very little rain. 5.5 ounces of seed (at least 250 seeds). 2025 seed.
