SNAP-BUSH
Productive bush bean, use as a snap bean. Relatively late maturing for a bush bean. Plants are very bushy and branched, making harvest a little more difficult. Long harvest window. As the name suggests, the pod shape is S-shaped like the Loch Ness monster! 3.5-4.3" long. Good flavor, stringless. Flowers white. 5 seeds/pod. Slim, kidney-shaped, white seeds, about 1/2" long. Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates. SSE Accession # 101097
