Attractive pepper with dark red, ruffled, flattened fruit. Sweet, no heat. Good crunch, fruity. Uniform in shape. Fruit 1.6-2.5" long, 2.8-4.4" wide. Thick walls. Medium productivity. Mid season maturity. C. annuum. This variety is from SSE member Jim Tjepkema (MN TJ J) of Minnesota who received the seeds as a gift from a teacher in Butan, Bulgaria. It's a commercial pepper in Bulgaria, which Jim began sharing in the Exchange in 1996. SSE Accession # 117364
