PINK-PURPLE
Medium-large, pink beefsteak tomato. Fruit are flattened with moderate ribbing. Moderate radial cracking. Wide pedicel scar. 1-3 fruit per cluster. Fruit measure 2.2-3.4" long; 4-4.7" wide; and weigh 0.8-1.4lbs. Dark pink flesh color. Brix score: 5.1. Indeterminate. Most plants have regular leaves, but the occasional plant has potato leaves. Fruit is uniform regardless of leaf type. Intermediate productivity when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Early to mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Bill Ellis (MD EL B) who introduced this variety into the 1989 SSE Exchange. Ellis indicated that he acquired it while living in Pennsylvania from a local greenhouse in DuBois PA; reportedly a 19th century commercial variety. SSE Accession # 124003
