Della's White

Stubby, pale green (almost white) cucumber. Good flavor and texture. Mildly sweet, not bitter, juicy, and crisp. Best under 5" long, before skin begins to turn white. Brown spines. Seed mature fruit is cream colored, 6" long and 3" wide. Mid-season maturing. Acquired by SSE from CV Royal Seeds. The variety was brought to the Lone Star area of eastern Kansas from Indiana in the late 1800s by Della Anderson. SSE Accession # 109262
