Naked-seeded squash. So-called because the oil extracted from its seeds are supposed to be good for the prostate. Seeds are delicious roasted with olive oil and salt. Fruit are dark green and yellow striped with elevated ribs, slightly oblong to round, and a little lumpy. 10-11 inches long, 8-12 inches wide, 10-20 lbs. Rind is tough and difficult to cut through. Numerous seeds per fruit (1-2 pints). Flesh is pale orange and not palatable. Low productivity when grown in 2019 at Heritage Farm. Plants are moderately vining. Cucurbita pepo. SSE Accession # 120046
